Last Minute Christmas Gift Packaging Ideas

Happy Friday!

It’s Tracey here today with a few last minute Christmas gift packaging ideas!  Have you started shopping already…or are you almost done?  I have to say that we are pretty much finished over here and it feels good!  I hate leaving it all to the last minute, and I really dislike the crowds during the holiday season!  Online shopping has become very popular with me!  LOL

Today I want to share with you some last minute packaging ideas!  I had some fun playing with my Silhouette Cameo and some adorable Christmas box svg files.

Here’s a peek…

Christmas Box TrioThese particular designs came from My ScrapChick, however the Silhouette design store is full of wonderful treat/gift box ideas!  These little guys are perfect to pack either treats or a gift card for that special someone, or to have on display as part of your home decor!

They are created with colored cardstock which you can find in the Scrapbooks by Design store should you be running low and all of the cutting is done by your electronic cutter which makes it super quick and easy!  Add some inking around the edges and a few white lines for character and voila…you have a special presentation box!

Here’s a peek at each of the characters close up…

…a Gingerbread Man perfect for holding a few homemade baked goods…

Gingerbread Christmas Box…Jolly Old St. Nicholas is ready just to fill his belly with some sweet candy treats…

Santa Christmas Box…and a Frosty snowman all bundled up, ready to keep a gift card safe and cosy…

Snowman Christmas BoxI know what some of you may be thinking…you don’t have an electronic die cutting machine!  No worries…there is still time to ask Santa to shop in the Scrapbooks by Design Store!  They have both the Cameo (the new version) and Portrait in stock and are currently having a sale!  And for those of you who already have a Silhouette die cutting machine, the store has a great selection of Silhouette accessories such as vinyl, chipboard, rolling totes, sketch pens, download cards, etc.

Hopefully I’ve helped you get into the holiday spirit and given you some creative inspiration for your smaller items that need to be packaged!  I’d also like to take this time to wish you a Merry Christmas!  I will see you again in the New Year!

Until next time…
