Milk Carton Treat Boxes made with Doodlebug Design Paper

Do you like to bake or make treats to share? Are you a packaging junkie? If you answered yes then maybe you should consider investing in a Silhouette Cameo digital cutting machine!

This is an example of the many bags and boxes you can make with the help of a digital cutter. These colourful Milk carton treat boxes were made with the help of my Cameo.

I love making boxes with my Silhouette Cameo. There are so many cool files available at the Silhouette online store. I often find it hard to just choose one to work on. I finally chose this Milk Carton treat box file for two simple reasons:

1. It was on sale.

2. I needed something to hold my homemade marshmallows.

For this project, I used paper from the Doodlebug Design Springtime collection. I really like the patterns from this collection as the designs can be used for many different Spring occasions such as Easter or Mother’s Day.

Once again, the file I used is by Lori Whitlock. I swear I didn’t plan it this way but the milk cartoon box was on sale (Easter and Spring promotion) and it happened to be what I was looking for. You can purchase the file from here.

The umbrella pattern is one of my favourites from the Doodlebug collection. How fitting seeing as it’s been miserable and wet the last few days (in Metro Vancouver). A prettily packaged box of homemade marshmallows should bring on some sunny smiles!

Here are a few different angles of the milk carton treat boxes:

Be sure to head over to Scrapbooks by Design for a fabulous selection of  paper (not just for scrapbooking). I especially like these other collections and they would work beautifully with the milk carton box file or other paper craft and scrapbook projects. Check them out:

So the next time you need a cute treat box, consider making your own with the help of a Silhouette Cameo and some pretty scrapbook paper!

Until next time…happy crafting!
